James, aged 26, our Assistant Teaching Professional, was born in Liverpool, Merseyside.

James is a fully qualified PGA Professional as well as an Authorised Instructor of "The Golfing Machine" (GSEB), and is currently teaching golfers at the Academy from all age groups and skill levels.

James started playing golf at 13 years old at Formby Hall Golf Club near Southport, and knew instantly he wanted to make it his career. Whilst at Formby Hall James was Junior Captain and won both junior and adult club championships trophies.

Mostly self-taught, James continues to broaden his knowledge of the game, improve his teaching and playing skills, and to pass on wisdom gained to other golfing enthusiasts.
