Captain - Mr Ed Crewdson
Ed's been a member of PGC since 1983 - 41 years. A Preston lad he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor working for private firms and then for Blackburn Council. Ed has strong family links with Preston GC, his father was a member in the 1960's to 80's. His wife Katie was Lady Captain in 2019. He is looking forward to a "FUN" year in office.
Lady Captain - Mrs Gill Moore
Been a member at Preston Golf Club since 1997 having taken up golf the year before as an escape from busy life as Veterinary Surgeon in mixed Practice based in Woodplumpton. In 2014 became Lady Captain not an easy task as that was "equality" year but enjoyed it enough to have accepted the honour a second time. Have been on the on committee of Lancashire County Senior Ladies Golf Association and delighted that Preston Golf Club will be hosting the Northern Counties Veterans Ladies Golf Associations Northern Championship this year, another honour for the club after the success of the English Senior Womens Strokeplay Championship last year. Have represented Preston Ladies teams at Scratch, Handicap and Miller level over the years and hope the standard of my golf allows me to continue to do so for as long as possible. Outside of golf, married to Dave, a non golfer but always a great support to me and when not golfing like to get away in our camper van as much as possible, especially to stay in Spain over the winter months. Our Ladies section at Preston may be small in numbers but I am proud of the way they represent our club and will support them to the best of my ability this year.

She attended Grimsargh Primary School, Archbishop Temple High School and is currently studying Biology, Maths and PE A Levels at Cardinal Newman College with plans to do Physiotherapy at University. Naomi has had many successes whilst being a junior. She has been picked and played for a Lancashire girls match and has also managed to get her name on the ladies' millennium trophy board. Her aims are to try and perfect her swing enabling her to keep bringing her handicap down and to also help with growing the junior section. Naomi is delighted to represent Preston Golf Club as their Junior Captain for 2024 and is looking forward to making the most of it.
